The most beautiful wedding venue in the Caribbean! The Windmill Bar is nestled on an overlook and has an amazing view of the beautiful Caribbean Sea and the sunset. It sits beside historic windmill ruins on the quaint island of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. We can easily accommodate 200 plus people for your wedding and reception. We can also assist with acquiring live music (local or stateside) and a mokojumbie to bless your ceremony.

This venue has the BEST view on the island and the sunsets from up there DO NOT disappoint!! Not only is the Windmill Bar STUNNINGLY beautiful; the staff are incredible as well. From the parking lot attendee to the bar tenders, and everyone in between...I can assure you that you will leave feeling warm, cared for and celebrated!
Christie Register and Andy Peter, the owners are beyond helpful when it comes to your big day! Christie helped us hire the best DJ and steel pan player the island has to offer! She arranged the decorations, seating, and so many more details for us; which is so helpful when planning a destination wedding! And the food there...the food is delicious! No need to go anywhere else, this is a one stop location! We had our ceremony and reception there and I'd do it all over again if I could!
Thank you Windmill Bar for making our wedding day better than we could have imagined! 7 weeks later and we are still floating on cloud 9...and all of our guests have said it was the best wedding they have ever attended hands down! I have to agree with them ❤️

Couldn’t asked for a better venue to share our special day
Christie and her team were nothing short of spectacular. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and Christie and made everything go off with out a hitch. It was intimating to plan a destination wedding, but with the help of the Windmill Bar we had an unforgettable experience with a great food, the best view on the island, wonderful music, and the most talented Mokojumbie! We highly recommend anyone considering the Windmill Bar for an event, to JUST DO IT!!!

Disappointing
I got married june 2021 here. We were so excited to find a perfect spot. I think our wedding planner was to blame for some of these things. There were no tables set out for our guest to sit and eat dinner, many stood and ate. We paid for a pig roast and other sides but we got cold food served in styrofoam boxes. There was zero accommodations for when it rains (which it did) meaning there was no where to go and everyone got drenched.
After it rained, we did get beautiful weather and great pictures. I should have done my due diligence better and sorted out these things beforehand. Once again, I think a lot of this lands on my wedding planner.
